How did we get our name?

Years ago I started selling various handmade crafts including wood items, birdhouses, etc. I named my company The Wooden Bear because it was very me (I like rustic, lodge-style stuff) and it was a small tribute to my Grandfather who had recently passed away. Everyone called him Bear, and it wasn't until I was about 11 that I realized he actually had a different name! So, even though I sell soft items, quilt patterns, etc., I wanted the name to live on!
