Easter Bunny with Egg from Antique Coverlets Ceramic Basket Holiday Table Decoration

I found this cute braided yellow ceramic basket and knew it would be the perfect display for an Easter bunny rabbit and egg, both made out of antique woven coverlets! The basket measure 10" X 9" and is quite sturdy and heavy. I filled it with green spanish moss along with pip berries in pastel green and yellow. For some added color there are two "carrots" made out of orange painted jingle bells, along with silk flowers in peach and green. The cute little bunny is made from a piece of woven coverlet in sage green and peach. The coverlet that this piece came from was woven by the Goodwin Guild, probably in the early 1900's. Our hoppy friend has little rusty jingle bells for eyes and a scarf made from a bit of grunged cheesecloth. The large Easter egg is made from a different coverlet in peach and cream that is not woven by the Guild, but is still from the early 1990's. The display is 10" tall to the tip of the rabbit's ears. Hoppy Easter!!!
