I always seem to end up in the art world and who would have thought that the road would be paved with tiles! I have grown up with a passion for art. I attended college and took many art classes non of which hit on the art of mosaics. I was mainly into drawing and oil paintings but had a yearning to always branch out. Like so many I was a starving artist so I got into the "corporate" world and always loathed it -- feeling that I was missing something. I owned a pet sitting business and while I was out on a call I saw a mosaic gazing ball. The woman said that underneath the tile was a bowling ball. So I had a hobby of making gazing balls. My sister approached me and asked if I could make a mirror with tiles. So one thing led to another and eureka -- if I can put tiles on bowling balls then I could try a frame.

so here I am. I have officially been in business since 2004. it was difficult pulling it all together but well worth it. Now I have branched out and am creating things that I never dreamed of. There is nothing more satisfying than to see a customers face after receiving their custom order. to make someone happy is very gratifying. What started out as a hobby has now turned into a business with a passion. How many people can come home from work and truly say that they are happy. Fortunately I am one of the lucky ones!

I am happily married for 20 years with one dog (our 4 legged "child" that we rent the house from ). My other passion in life is gardening. to me my garden is a reflection of my art. there is such texture and variety of colors in a garden and the same can be found in mosaics. If only I had the time!

I have done shop consignment and been in many shows. I am fairly new to Etsy but, am learning the ropes and continually adding new items! So stop by any time!
