PRIM EASTER BASKET WIRED BUNNY DOLL Welcome Prim Friends and thank you for stopping by to view my new Easter Offerings. This is a sweet Easter gathering that is my own design which I have fondly named "Easter Joy" and it measures 7" tall, 7" wide and 3" deep. I have aged this piece with a coffee and vanilla stain that gives it that time worn look. It consists of a green moss-covered grapevine basket filled with green excelsior and pearlescent pastel Easter eggs with sprigs of fragrant Sweet Annie. A bow torn from a soft Debbie Mumm block print called Easter Treasures.... soft muted colors in pink, blues, tans, & greens for the birds and nests, bunnies, rosebuds, hearts and carrots is tied to the handle at the side. Hanging from the handle, I have created a little 5" tall prim bunny sewn from muslin with curled wired arms and legs that make her poseable. Her little dress is torn from a coordinating Debby Mumm cotton printed with pastel Easter eggs and topped with a tiny white button tied at the neck. She holds a perlescent green Easter Egg ornament.I have given this piece a prim tag aged in a coffee-vanilla-cinnamon mixture and carefully burnt the edges with a flame, then stamped it with a nostalgic vintage Easter Basket design in brown pigma ink and prim printed the lettering "Easter Joy". PRIM EASTER BUNNY CARROT SOCK & VIOLETS Welcome Prim Friends and thank you for stopping by to visit my new Spring offerings. Here we have a Large Primitive Grubby gathering with a Prim Easter Bunny holding her Easter Egg surrounded by a Garden of Violets inside a Grubby Carrot Sock, that I have fondly named "Easter Garden". This piece measures 30" tall and 8 " wide and 5" deep. This set is just the sweetest and sure to be an Easter or Spring Garden favorite and would be perfect as a Door Greeter or a wall hanging anywhere in your home.I have created this piece in a primitive fashion to give it that time-worn look. I have sewn the bunny's soft-sculptured body from muslin, stuffed it tightly with long floppy ears and separate twig arms. For her facial features, I have pinch-stitched her nose and embroidered her eyes with black french knots and her mouth with black back stitches. She was paint-washed antique white, sanded to soften the coat and brushed with a coffee-vanilla-cinnamon stain solution. Her whiskers are stitched with strands of blonde sisal rope. Her ears are adorned with tiny rusty bells at the top. I have given her a big wide collar cut from felt with pinking sheers, paint-washed in pink and grubbied with a coffee-vanilla-cinnamon mixture and baked. Three tiny rusty bells embellish the front of the collar. She is holding a Prim Easter Egg that I have sewn from muslin, stained in the grubby cinnamon mixture and embroidered pink french knots for decoration. She is holding the Easter Egg with her twig arms. She is popping out of a large grubby carrot sock that I have sewn from muslin, stuffed tightly, needle-sculpted dimples and paint-washed terra cotta. After a good sanding, I aged it with the grubby mixture and baked it again. The carrot is adorned with a scarf made from grubbied cheesecloth sprinkled with cinnamon and tied into a bow on the side. Tiny rusty bells are sewn all around the scarf and a round disc tag with a rubber stamped "B" is attached to the center of the bow with a rusty safety pin and a tiny rusty bell. This darling Easter Bunny is surrounded by a lush garden blooming from the top of the carrot consisting of purple violets, fragrant preserved Sweet Annie, and rustic twigs. The petals of each Violet bloom were individually cut from muslin, paint-washed purple, grubbied with the cinnamon mixture and hand sewn together on curled rusty wire for the stems. They sprout all around the bunny for lots of color. This sweet Easter Garden gathering was lovingly handmade by me from a pattern created by Kentucky Primitives.This design will come to you dated, signed and tagged with my own label. Price - $25.00
	PRIM GRUNGY EASTER EGGS BOWL FILLERS Welcome Prim Friends and thank you for stopping by to view my new Easter Offerings. This is a sweet gathering of Five Grungy Easter Eggs that I have displayed here as bowl fillers. Each egg measures 4" long x 3" wide and are oval in shape. I have aged these pieces in the primitive fashion that gives them that time worn look. Each egg is sewn from antique tea towels, each with different textures. After sewing the sectional pieces together and stuffing the eggs, I have hand-stitched the seams with floss in a cross-stitch pattern. The eggs are painted daffodil yellow, mint green, and umber brown and baked. One yellow egg was dip-dotted in the coordinating green paint for a polka dot pattern. The other yellow egg was hand-painted with red and green stripes on the diagonal, with brown dots. The green egg was striped with yellow zig-zag design alternating with brown dots. One brown egg was dip-dotted with flowers in green and red. The other brown egg was painted with yellow and green stripes and larger red dots around the center. Once dry, they were then sanded well and brushed with my grungy solution of coffee-vanilla-cinnamon and baked. For the final finish each egg was randomly dusting with dry cinnamon for prim perfection. I have given this set a prim tag aged in a coffee-vanilla-cinnamon mixture and adhered a vintage greeting card image showing a seated bunny rabbit boiling his Easter Eggs over a fire that says "Easter Greetings". I have bordered the image with clear German Glass Glitter for a bit of sparkle. PRIMITIVE GRUNGY HEARTS TRIO Welcome Prim Friends, and thank you for stopping by to view my new Valentine Offerings. Here we have a set of three Primitive Grungy Olde Valentine Heart Bowl Fillers. They would display nicely as a gathering in a basket as shown or as a hanging arrangement on the wall. Each one measures 12" tall and 5"wide and 2" deep.I have created this gathering in the primitive fashion to give them that time-worn look. The prim shaped hearts are sewn from muslin with reversed stitched seams and stuffed with fiberfill. I then used red, pale pink and antique white paint-wash for each one, antiqued the edges in dark umber, baked and stained them with a grungy solution of coffee-vanilla-cinnamon, baked again, and dusted with cinnamon. Curled rusty wire with rusty bells was used for the hanger. Each heart has a banner made from aged, torn muslin with pressed on sayings...."Live Well", "Love Much" and "Laugh Often" which are pinned on with rusty safety pins. A bunch of fragrant Sweet Annie combined with Country Red Pip Berry sprigs is tied and inserted under each banner. I have given this gathering a primitive tag aged with the coffee-vanilla-cinnamon stain topped with a nostalgic print of a vintage greeting card showing a vintage lady posing by a big heart that says "To My Love". I bordered the edges with Red Glass Glitter for a bit of sparkle.This piece has been lovingly made by me from a pattern created by Old Road Primitives.This set will come to you signed, dated and tagged with my own label.
