Loopy Primitive Turkey Doll Aways Crafty 2 Original
This is an original 2008 Loopy The Turkey Doll from Always Crafty 2. This Loopy is our doll style created in a fun Primitive style.Loopy’s head and body are made from walnut ink stained flannel. His wings and feathers are made from a stiffened stripped cotton fabric. The fabric is a wonderful range of brown and tan toned stripes. He has cinnamon turkey legs that are made to sit to the front. He would make a great centerpiece on your holiday table or place him on the mantel or coffee table to welcome in all your guests. This Loopy is created in the Primitive style. He measures 11 inches long and 21 inches tall. He is weighted to sit right nicely anywhere you want him too. Brooke and Jacob named our turkey dolls so that is where Loopy came from. Hannah Angel Kisses Doll Chanukah or Hanukkah Blessings
This month The Ol Country Home Team or OCHTeam decided to take part in a pattern challenge. We each received a pattern from an awesome doll designer named Denni. The pattern we received was her Angel Kisses pattern by Denni Doodles. We were challenged to create this pattern anyway we wanted but geared toward the Holiday season. This doll was created in the image of a friend of mine’s daughter.Hannah was created from natural muslin fabric. Her face is hand painted and she is wearing a dress created from cotton print fabric. The fabric design is a Chanukah or Hanukkah design. It is dark blue with silver, white and gold Star of David print. Hannah has hair created from brown chenille yarn in to 2 ponytails. She is sporting a fine pair of wings created from retro striped cotton fabric with a vintage button in the center. She is wearing a beaded halo made from wire and white and crystal glass beads. Hannah legs are striped with wicker white and tan paint. She is weighted to sit and measures 8 inches wide by 7 inches tall.Hannah will arrive with her own unique hang tag. This tag is made from cardstock and measures 3 inches long. On the face of this tag you will find two dreidels cut from fabric and applied to the face of the tag. Spicy Faux Gourds and Leaves
Bowl FIllers and Basket
Nothing says FALL like good ole pumpkin pie spice. I decided to make up a new spice mixture taking my favorite scents from pumpkin pie, sweet potato pie and fall baking. I added these scents to mod podge and spiced up a grouping of faux gourds and silk fall leaves for you.You will receive this prim basket that measures a little over 8 inches long and 2 inches deep. This is rectangle shaped with wooden handles tied on each end. Inside the basket is an assortment of spiced leaves and faux gourds. The gourds range in sizes from a 4 inch tall pear shaped gourd, a 4 inch wide pumpkin, 4 to mini gourds that are 2-3 inches wide. The leaves have been soaked and dried in our special mixture along with extra leaves that are left in the silk state but have a spicy scent. The faux gourds and leaves are sitting inside the basket on a bed of scented brown paper shred. Nothing is glued in so you can arrange them to your liking. Shweetpotato Awareness Annie Nutt Angel Doll
This doll is an original Always Crafty 2 doll created using a graphic by Carm with Shweetpotato Designs. Carm created this graphic to honor a friend of our's who is fighting a battle with Cancer. My friend Nutt is so inspiring to me and everyone she meets. Because of Nutt and her faith and strength I will be donating 50% of the sales from this doll and any custom ordered to Cancer Research. Green is for Peripheral T Cell Lymphoma. The original NUTT ANGEL is on way to cheer up the origianl Nutt but the picture shown will be the style this doll will be created in. If you want a different hair or dress color just let me know.Nutt Angel is created from tea stained muslin. She measure at 13 inches tall. Her face is hand painted and her hair is red wool yarn. Nutt is wearing a light lime green with dark green dotted cotton dress with green/white checkered bloomers. Her legs have that red painted stripes we have come to love.Nutt is holding a awareness ribbon created from the same fabric as her bloomers. What angel is complete without wings and this One has a set for sure. Her wings are made from warm and natural batting covered with white organza. There are hearts sewn on each wing made from green/white checkered fabric. The wings were stiffen to stand out nice and proud. Handpainted Cardinal Ornie
Each ornie was created by hand and no two the same. I used a pattern by TD Painting for these birds. The birds are made from muslin and then painted and stained to look aged. They have glass bead eyes and clear fishing line for hangers so they will appear to be flying on our tree. Each bird ranges in size from 6-7" long. These birds take a while to create but are so worth it. Remember you can order these in singles, triples or sets of a dozen each.
