Q: What type of products do you offer?

A: Primitive accessories for your home, candles, poptourri, lamps, curtains, placemats, runners,shower curtains, lots of simple prim items, We have hand-made items from local people that are just wonderful. Custom made curtains, priimitive furniture, appliqued and hand-painted sweatshirts, lighted berry baskets and wreaths and much more We also have all the Judy Condon Books and Homestead by Jill Peterson.

Q: How did you decide on your company's name?

A: We called it The Olde Picket Fence because we have picket fence all around the front of the shop.

Q: How long have you been crafting and when did you decide to make it a business?

A: We've been in business soon to be 20 yrs.

Q: Do you think that any special artistic or other talent is required to do what you do?

A: Willing to work hard, be creative and love being with people.

Q: What has been your greatest success?

A: To be able to be in business for 20 years, giving our customers the best customer service we can.

Q: What has been the worst experience for you in this industry?

A: The good by far pass the bad.

Q: Do you enjoy your work?

A: I love what I do.

Q: If you were given the opportunity to change it all, what would you do differently?

A: I can't think of anything I'd change.

Q: Where do you locate your business from?

A: We have 3,200 sqare foot log sided building on the main road going into Hartville, with a white picket fence around the front yard

Q: What mediums do you use to sell? Retail stores? Consignment craft stores? Craft shows? The internet?

A: We sell mostly thru our shop and some on the internet.

Q: Any advice for any of our crafters?

A: Be willing to work hard, be honest and always give the customer the best service and help you can.
