I live in a small town in Northern Ontario and belong to CQA. I love the patterns you have been putting in the magazine. I am making the Santa at the moment and plan to do the Sunny Day and the Scarecrow. I hope I haven't missed any. Born in Bible Hill, mother born and raised in Antigonish. Always heard about her "Uncle" George and "Aunt" Ruth (Millar). Now I live in Sasktachewan and met Malcolm Millar who is George and Ruth's son. Small world indeed. They ran the Pomquet Island lighthouse for many years. I also LOVE quilting so was excited when I found your web site. Will definitely visit next time I am "down home".

I grew up in Port Greville on the Minas Basin area of the Bay of Fundy. I now live near Yosemite National Park, central California. We are lucky to have a store handy, like yours, of friendly quilters. I love your site and am always thrilled to run across Nova Scotian sites.
I combine machine embroidery with my quilting and am finally learning to applique after many, many years of doing it the "hard" way!!!!
